
Programs and Services
Sick at heart, alone and often suffering the devastating effects of drug use, men come to
Union Mission looking for help, hope, and a chance to start their lives over again. They
find all three in our Men's Program.
This long-term residential program offers men a safe environment in which to grow
spiritually while healing from addiction and other destructive behaviors through one-on-
one counseling, case management, and educational and life-skills classes.
Up to 18 men reside in our facility, where they receive the tools they need to grow strong
emotionally, spiritually, academically and physically, through courses like Overcoming
Crisis, Codependency, Anger Management, Financial Management, Life Skills,
Computer Skills, GED Preparation, and Bible Study.
Union Mission does everything possible to eliminate discouraging roadblocks and give
our homeless residents every opportunity for success:
-Safe shelter and an address where they can be contacted for employment
-Appropriate clothing for interviews, along with instruction in personal hygiene
-Job-skills training, resume writing, and interview coaching
-Necessary credentials for employment
-Transportation to training and interviews
-Christ-centered counseling and character-building programs
-Spiritual encouragement and moral suppor
