RPOSE:
To pick up
“in-kind” donations as directed by the Industrial Programs
Manager. As an ambassador for
Christ, you are the first impression most people will have of the Union
Mission. Your attitude and sp=

will tell them a lot.

ALIFICATIONS:

Profess
to be a “born again” Christian and be actively involved in a lo=
cal
Christian fellowship
·
Possess
physical, mental and spiritual capacities that permit accomplishments of
position’s responsibilities
·
Have
a valid
·
Over
the age of 24.
·
Pass
initial and random onsite drug and alcohol tests
·
Have
a high school diploma, GED or be currently enrolled in a GED class.
·
Demonstrate
an ability to interact positively with staff, residents and donors
·
Be
a patient listener and willing to pray with donors as needed.
·
Have
a heart for the homeless, needy and poor.
·
Pass
a background check

SPONSIBILITIES:

To check with your supervisor=
about
any special instructions for the day at 8:30 am.

To make any necessary calls to
donors for directions or other needed information.
· =
To keep gas tank full.
· =
To check all fluids in trucks=
and
fill them if needed before taking off each day.
· =
To check all lights and gener=
al
condition of the vehicles and make sure they are in a safe operable conditi=
on.
· =
To fill out required forms an=
d logs
as necessary.
· =
To assist in loading and unlo=
ading
trucks; Learn/Operate the Fork Lift as necessary.
· =
To keep trucks clean inside a=
nd out
on a regular basis.
· =
To check out your cell phone =
each
morning and return it to your supervisor each evening (This phone is not for
personal use).
· =
To cooperate with other Staff
members as a team player to obtain stated objectives. (This includes learning/helping in=
the
recycling program)
· =

Work hours – 8:30 a.m. =

5:00 p.m. with a half hour for lunch and two fifteen minute breaks, one in =

morning and one in the afternoon.
